Nov 6 - stack attacks

Second: where are we and what are doing?

• This week and next we're working through the "machine code" material from chapter 3 in the text, using (a) the bomb lab and (b) the attack lab to test our understanding.
• The bomb lab is due today ... but it's OK to spill over the weekend if need be.
• I've posted an assignment for Tuesday (practice with C and stack attacks).

next Tuesday

Next week there are no classes; it's a plan day and there's a faculty meeting in the afternoon.

I'm willing to meet instead that evening, say 8-10pm, to go over the bomb lab and discuss anything related to the attack lab. Thoughts?
