It's a web application that manages course materials and student work.
Jim Mahoney wrote it, mostly during his Fall 2017 sabbatical from Marlboro College. His Bennington computing classes are hosted in this system, as well as his previous courses at Marlboro College.
Nothing. It's short and fairly unique, that's all. Better than Wikiacademia anyway.

Most of the course content here including course lecture notes and assignments is available to anyone, under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike License, unless otherwise stated.
The software is also available under an open license; see the github repo for the details.
A jupyter hub is also hosted here at jupyter.bennington.college, with the same terms of use.
We do not share personal information. Local cookies are used only for session management but not for advertising or tracking by third parties. Sign in is through a local password or OAuth ID such as a google account.
