Midterm project due in two weeks, April 22 ... please don't wait until the last minute.

Today:

• discuss "design" homework : craps.py
• discuss project : rough draft due a week from today
• start talking about defining objects

What you should be doing next :

• working on your midterm projects
• reading chapter 10 in textbook, and the coding assignment

design

We'll discuss the craps.py assignment due today - a "program design" example ... perhaps by working through writing it together in class. The description of the problem is in my simulation and design notes.

defining objects

Today (and continuing Monday) we'll go over both (a) the reasons for and (b) the syntax of defining objects, with my notes and Zelle's chap 10 slides .

The file that I coded in class an example - object.py - is attached.

On Monday we'll practice some of this stuff in breakout rooms, perhaps with some exercises from chapter 10.
