At this point you have seen all the fundamental coding ideas that are used in the simplest to the most complicated programs : variables, types, lists, importing libraries, loops, and conditionals, and functions. The rest of mastering coding is (a) ideas that build on these fundamentals and (b) practice.
After this next midterm project, you'll be able to choose one more project to do in the last weeks of the term.
