Today we'll continue with the sound labs - open time.

coding

This week I encourage you to dig into the coding tricks, particularly arrays and functions ... see last week's notes for links to the program.

In the homework, I suggested trying to print out information on what's what ... here's what I mean.

And here's our code for simon says ... the most complicated we've used.

Modification ideas :

simon says DIY videos & parts

Depending on what you're making, there may be specialized parts such as these illuminated buttons for simon says - button & LED in one part.

You can find lots of variations of instructions on making variations of these sorts of things like this simon says game.

coming attractions

While you don't need to use anything this term other than what's in your kit, I would like to give you the chance to explore outside that - soldering, arduino shields, and all that.

I've started an extras page with some notes on all that stuff.

In future weeks, I hope to set up some activities that will get you some practice with soldering and so on.
